HEllo,
just question. Thinking about moving from FS9 to FSX. I use cs757 and 2D views. Is there any possibility also in FSX version to have window views on wings like it is in FS9 version ?
many thanks
JM

There is indeed window views. If you mean from inside the cabin. Although the wings/engines are not rendered when in the virtual cabin.

If you mean wing view, there are variable options (left wing engine, left wing flaps, right wing engine etc etc).

You can do it by yourself. In one of the airgraft.cfg's [CameraDefinition.???] change
the values for InitialXyz and InitialPbh...

Hi, many thanks. I am trying that, however, no way how to add there any .bmp as a window frame, or how to place camera that it looks from inside (meaning still see part of interior) out.
Any idea ?
many thanks

In my aircraft.cfg of the CS_B757-200.cfg, i modified the view "Passenger Seat" to "Passenger Seat Window left A2":

// replace for [CameraDefinition.003] Title = "Passenger Seat"
[CameraDefinition.003]
Title = "Passenger Seat Window left A2"
Guid = {E64038EF-9E57-4141-98D0-2BFDF52DA0CE}
Origin = Virtual Cockpit
MomentumEffect = YES
SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel
SnapPbhReturn = False
PanPbhAdjust = Swivel
PanPbhReturn = False
Track = None
ShowAxis = YES
AllowZoom = TRUE
InitialZoom = 0.45
SmoothZoomTime = 2.0
ZoomPanScalar = 1.0
ShowWeather = Yes
XyzAdjust = TRUE
ShowLensFlare=FALSE
Category = Cockpit
PitchPanRate=20
HeadingPanRate=60
// Xyz: right, above, front / Pbh:pitch-below, roll-right, turn-right
InitialXyz=-1.25, 0, -7.15
InitialPbh=15, 0, -80
xyzRate=0.5

Hope this helps...
