Good day to all, I recently bought the whole 757 simware and tried to configure it for my wife who is the pilot in the family; I keep having trouble though, black cdu, black irs and so on. I've read pretty much the whole forum and did not find a suitable solution except maybe I need a sp installed but where do I find those?
Any hint is welcome,

Hey,
If you just recently bought the aircraft, you have the latest version available.
To check, see the last 4 digits in the name of the executable(s) you downloaded, they shoud read 4300.

I have neither one, the service packs seem impossible to download (server quits before it's complete) and I don't really feel like buying "accelaration" if I am not sure that it is going to be any help..

you need SP2 or acceleration to use the 757. It's clearly specified in the system requirements.
If you don't want to buy acceleration, keep trying on SP2.
you can also look on google for other mirrors do download from, if the one found on fsinsider isn't working.
