Hi Kevin.

I have both the 757 & 767. I have found that the 767 is a bigger resource hog than the 757.

But...That said. I mostly fly the 767. For me the 767 only had a few minor flaws that were fixed by the "fixes" that other members came up with (thank you so much guys Grin). I love doing the transpacific flights in the -200 although I have flown some other long flights in the -300 too. Of the Captain Sim planes, I have to admit that the 767 is my favourite. I guess I'm lucky because I have a good enough computer to cope with it.

Hi Kevin,

I have both,

there is a difference in the feel of the flightdeck.
Even though the 757 and 767 are very similar, when u jump from the 757 to the 767, you actually FEEL like your in a different aircraft, there is more room, it is bigger.

My only niggle is that they could of included some more 767 features like the speed tape, that the 757 doesnt have,

Alex

How is it bug-wise compared to the 757?

Thanks for your comments, guys, I appreciate it.

Hi Kevin.

For me. And I want to emphasize that! It hasn't been very buggy. The767 V1.3 is an improvement on earlier versions except for the rocking and rolling on approach that I encountered. The fixes posted by hochwang (Mario) and wsciutti (Jack S.) sorted it out for me in this forum topic :-
http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1247843334

You might find it well worth your time reading the forum to see what bugs there are, that you might encounter. If you feel it's too buggy then hold off on purchasing it until after the next update.

Personally though. I'm very happy with it and have been since I bought it when it was first released (V1.0). It is certainly better now (V1.3), so I'm even happier now.  Grin

Mark

Note: As you can see in my signature I have the 767-300 and 767-200 and all I need to do now is save up for the 767 Freighter.  Cheesy

Ok, thank you very much, I appreciate it.  I'm thinking about dipping into a complex airliner again, but we'll see  Tongue

Cheers!

767 is very similar to the 757.  As in nearly identical.  If you like the 757 you'll like the 767.  It has the complete cabin, and sun shades, as well as a slightly different overhead.  I think it is a better airplane.

The only bugs I see are the occasional engine sound when engine is off, and the porpoising during cruise.  The latter looks like it is on its way to a non-issue now.  So, what it comes down to is whether you want a 767 or not.  The 767 can make long transatlantic flights, and now, with the -200 out, transpacific flights, as well.  If someone put a gun to my head and made me choose I'd be going with the 767 until I thought about McPhat 757 paint jobs on the way... it would be hard.
