I have attempted to make left/right turns during pushback form gate and parking ( With and without tractor) It doesn't turn; Can this be fixed? I've been allover trying to find info, before posting KB and forums...Came empty handed. Can anyone assist and explain.

Push back works perfectly normal for me.
Just press SHIFT+P, immediately followed by 1 or 2 depending on which way you want to turn.
(1 tail left, 2 tail right) use the numbers above your alphanumeric section on the keyboard, and not those on the numpad.

Yes Tyrion: That's what I was doing...But it doesn't work, for me,That's why I posted. First I put the 727 at a gate, without the pullback tractor in front, didn't work, just went on straight backwards...So I decided to see if it would work with the tractor in front engaging the front gear...Didn't work either. I press (shift+p) and immidiately 1 or 2 on the alpha numeric section of the keyboard ( Not numpad) Still it won't turn... Undecided I'll keep testing and repport. Thanks for your reply.

I have observed the same thing.  Could not turn as I pushed back in the 727-100F. Running CS 727 v2.2, FSX Acceleration on Vista64.

I plan on choosing gates with plenty of room to turn around in...

Undecided I've kept on testing and it won't turn...Just straight backwards, Incidentaly I just got the update for the Addictive VC-10 and I', discussing the same issue with them. In my kneeboard and keyboard control panel all I get regarding the pushback issue is (Shift+p) I think there was a section describing, apart from the HELP SECTION That describes how to pushback and turn:Shift+P+1 or 2; But the commands are not included in my key commands? I normally start with my default flight, then load the 727...SLEW it to a gate with a tractor troley and test...Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Cheesy

Ok now I've submitted a ticket for the second time and hope for a promt reply, as I come empty handed from the KB.
Thank you Captain Sim 2

12-11-09. STILL WAITING ON A REPLY FROM MY TWO SUBMITTED TICKETS?????...

Got a reply! KB4530. Development team will look at the issue in the next Sad update ?....

In the mean time I've downloaded Rob Barendregts' gauge rcbgh50 for pushback and turns in FSX.

Easy install...I have installed it in the 727 and it works flawlessly. Use drop down menu to open. READ,READ The read me file!!!!!!!

Those who install the gauge for the first time may experinece a brakes sound which is a bit annoying,at least for me it was. I couldn't edit it in the gauges' sound .cfg and make it sound quiter; So I deleted it. G11_Brakes

mine turns but not all the time but then i could list other aircraft i have made by other developers that seem to share the same problem.

Ive always put it down to being an fsx bug more than an addon bug.

i believe that "turn capability" actually depends on how airport programed. default jets not always turn too, so i guess its taxiway programming, not a aircraft itself.

Now I'm going to embarrass myself. I bought a regiustered version of FSUIPC and most of FS problems are gone; I can pushback and turn the 727 now  Smiley

Yahoo! You've finally got it working. Smiley
Mind you, I'm surprised to find that a registered version of FSUIPC can do that.

By the way, there's no need to be embarrassed by that, it just happens that buying FSUIPC solved you problem. I'm just happy that to hear that you have solved the problem after such a long time. Grin

Perhaps it should be noted in the system requirements, but obviously not for all users?

In reality, needing to buy another program to make the 727 (or any product, for that matter) work properly shouldn't happen.

But even Microsoft did this by making differences between SP2 and the Acceleration SP2 versions. Although I consider it wrong, it does make business sense because  Microsoft themselves would  make more money if more people bought the Acceleration Expansion Pack. Wink
