Here is one of the great repaints in progress for the 757 in UHDT resolution.

This one will be a freeware release due to the limitations emposed by American Airlines.

It is still a WIP and no release date has been set yet.

Keep watching for news.

Dave and the McPhat Team.

Love it! Something about it reminds me of an old Connie ... my favorite plane of all time .... I think it's the red reversed "Z" design in front. Thank you for making it free and also for not making it really dirty.

Glad you like her Dennis.

The best thing about the UHDT texture size is you don't need to make it all down and dirty to look used.  You just need to add the extra detail of what a normal day to day aircraft weathering an aircraft gets.

A lot of it is now added via the bump and spec maps.  A dent here, a bit of shine where the paint is chipped.  All adds that little bit of extra fine touches to come up with the final product.

The TWA scheme will also be a freeware version due to the limitations of the use of there logo.

very beautiful so far.
looking forward to it...
If it's as good as it seems, it will definitely add that little extra to the already great exterior of the 757.

Hi Dennis

The base 757 UHDT kit is still being worked on.  Once that has been done then the freeware repaints will be released.

Dennis, no AVSIM. They will be available from our website only (for now, this may change in the future).

Here's an update, on the bump kit :

Comparison shots!

The point of focus is the eagle and in front of the eagle/below the cockpit.  Find the differences!  B)

(All is work in progress, and still pretty raw)

More info on CS757 UHDT here

Light riveting, barely visible as there is almost no direct light hitting the fuselage. Look closely though, they're there :

More light, see how the rivets 'punch' thru the Eagle decal. Also below the cockpit you can see the rivets 'act up' more.

You can actually see the spars that make up for the bodywork a little more now.

And gone it is again, as the light turns to the other side of the fuselage...

And to finish it off, the CS757 wearing the same livery, but this time, stock textures, Normal Definition :

That is beautiful.

Do you have a scenery pack installed or is that default environment?
