767 Captain and FPS

Hello everybody, I'm new on this forum. Smiley

I bought CS 727 and I think it's an outstanding product. Now I'm considering the purchase of CS 767 (it looks great!) and I have one question: What about the frame rates in 767? Is it working as good as 727?

I found some info about it here, but there wasn't any info about the computer's hardware. I'm using Apple iMac with Windows Vista, 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, GeForce 8800GT 512MB, 4GB RAM. Would the 767 work fine?

I'm looking forward to hearing from you Smiley

Well let's not say "as good" please, since it is pretty resource demanding.

Hi  Smiley

The 767 is not that good performing like the 757. ( And she is very fine )
Its hardly feel in the loading time from the VC View
if you come in from outside view.

And the all around is not so smooth as the 757 is in FSX.

CS should look into that - i think this can be fixed for better usage.
As i can think this happens to the first release off the 757`s ,too  Undecided
IMO

cheers

I heard that 757 from CS in FSX doesn't work smooth. Is the 767 worse?! Shocked

//please compare it to 727 because I don't have 757.

Please help me. Wink This is beautiful aircraft, but I must consider this purchase - I don't want to lose my money.

Hi  Smiley

I think its OK !
You shure be happy with it  Cool

I would say it`s not so good as the 727 because it have a lot more
Instruments and therefor more gauges to work

but it`s shure worth the money .. IMO

When I reveiwed the 757 at AVSIM I posted pictures of me getting 20-ish FPS at KMIA with the 757 at "High" scenery option, medium airport traffic and 70% Traffic X.  I have a consumer grade computer from Best Buy.

Some people say frame rates are bad, but they're not.  You are just going to have pay for the unparalled visuals.  That means knowing your system, working with it, and coming up with the best compromise between performance and looks.  If you have an older system, you're probably going to have to make more compromises.  The nice thing about FSX is that it has rendered the old fixation on FPS less useful, because you can stil get very smooth performance with relatively low frame rates.
