Lights gone wrong.

I noticed that red the anti-collision lights do not turn on, nor the wing position lights. Also the takeoff light splashes on the fuselage don't show when the takeoff lights are on, and vice versa. The wing strobes don't work too. I have full electrical power from plug and apu. Are these bugs or is there a way to make them work? Thanks.

I've already known how to turn them on, the problem is some of them don't, and the takeoff lights at the wing roots work, but they don't cast lights on the fuselage ahead of them.

I agree with ''mageej''

The Light not working correctly
-becon and position light working only when you switch on landing light on

I think only taxi light are working correctly
I'm using windows vista 64 bit

Also do you have flap voice from first officer (flap 1 ,flap 5....)

Or this voice not exist in Captain Sim product?
thanks
Chris

I checked all my lights.  Position lights, beacons, strobes, all working perfectly.  Taxi lights and landing lights, too.  I never used the 2D panel for anything.  (Although I do shift+7 to get the big popup MCU.)

Plus cockpit lighting much better than 757 at night!

hello mr ''Tim Capps''

MY light working as well but not as should work becouse:
lets say you want to switch on bacon light position and wings
you press the button (on) switch to spot view and is dark -no lights
but when you also switch l or R landing light all lights come on

taxi light working good no problem
If your light working good and each light can be switch on separately you are happy man .

I'm going right now to do movie and I will upload on youtube so you can see what I mean

regards for all
Chris

That's fine.  New product; things that are working properly for others are good to post to help separate general issues from ones that may be set-up specific.

DX10 preview is a recipe for trouble in my book. But, CS does say the 767 is DX10 compatible.  Good luck!

Hey guy's, I found the problem! When the 767 was installed, it deleted an FX file that FSX uses for the aircrafts lights. I found this info on Avsims forum. You must find the file fx_2.bmp and put it back in Effects/Texture folder. This brought back the red beacons, white wing strobes, red and green position lights, and white position lights. See if this works for you! It worked for me!
