Outside view is the inside of the plane

My problem is that when I load the plan and go to start a flight all I see in the outside view is the inside of the plane. I'm not at home so I can't include a picture at the moment. I see no winds or body of the aircraft just the insides. I’ve asked tech support twice about this problem and they just tell me to uninstall and reinstall, which I’ve tried a ton of times now. Any suggestion would be great. thanks

Hi Joenaps9922

It would be nice if you tell us which SO and which FSX version (SP1 + SP2 or Acceleration).

Also if you have other add-ons like FSUIPC, and so on.

Do you have this same problem with other non-default aircrafts?

Regards

Schmid

I'm using FSX with SP2, no other add-ons and all other non-default aircraft work great.

This eliminates (for now) a possible video driver problem.

I would do:

1. Uninstall the aircraft and delete any remaining file
2. Disable anti-virus and firewall
3. Restart the computer with a/v and firewall disabled
4. Run FSX for a few minutes
5. Re-download the product
6. Reinstall
7. Reboot the computer
8. Run FSX and - I hope so - have 757 running correctly
9. Enable a/v and firewall

Another questions: do you run FSInn/FSCopilot? If so, you have to check your dll.xml file and put the FSCopilot string at the end.

Do you have the 73x from that known developer? If so, probably your dll.xml file is a mess.

If none of those, so the bad news.

My second step:

1. Uninstall all add-ons
2. Delete all remaining files
3. Uninstall SP2/SP1/FSX
4. Delete all remaining files
5. Assure simconnect.dll files are deleted from Windows/WinSXS folder
6. Disable antivirus and firewall
7. Reboot
8. Install FSX. Run for a few minutes
9. Reboot
10. Install SP1. Run for a few minutes
11. Reboot
12. Install SP2. Run for a few minutes
13. Reboot
14. Install CS757
15. Run FSX

Remember that all these steps should be done with antivirus disabled. Be aware that some a/v, although disabled, run on background. So, if you are not sure, it would be better to uninstall antivirus.

Regards

Schmid
