You should post your fix, others may have the same problem.

I do have the same problem which I can't reproduce consistently; parts of the panel (not least of which the comm frequency selectors) stop working, but other parts carry on fine.

Reloading the aircraft corrects the problem, but this isn't an option midflight.

aceridgey - if you're reading this, then please tell us what you did to fix it.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Same problem here and it works half the time and if it is not working you have to restart the flight which is a pain:(

I just had this same problem, Comm1 and 2 digits are whiteish or greyed out and will not change.  When test is pressed the digits change to all 8s.  Pressing again and they return to the default digits but are still not changeable. The rest of the radios seem to work fine, just the Comm1 and 2 don't work.

All of you should be aware that this inssue is related with the APU 20 min problem...

Question is, if you lose the Apu, you will also lose Avionics due the need of electrical power, and the radios will not work, that's why reloading the aircraft fixes the problem, because you are able to restart the Apu.

Yeah, this APU/battery running out problem is ridiculous.  I had that happen yeserday after spending 20 minutes getting everything set up while on external power, fire up the generator, push back, get ready to start the engines and wham everything goes dead.  I had to reload the aircraft and then setup everything all over again.   Just stupid and totally unrealistic.  They need an "infinite battery" option like some other products have to avoid this problem.

I also had just the radios untuneable problem also.  Had to do another restart.  Starting with the default Cessna is no fix.  Maybe I should try the default glider Undecided

ILS frequencies are tuned on the pedestal, and I have never had a problem with that.  (I think they are actually using one of the VORs because of the way flight sim is set up.)  I often manually tune my nav radios and have never run into a problem, of course you have to change them to man from auto.

As for comm frequencies, I make my co-pilot in Radar Contact handle comms, so I guess I've never run into it one way or another.

The APU problem is a problem, but there's a thread on that already, I think.

Yeah, there is a thread on the APU problem.  I never have a problem with the ILS, just the  Comm1 and 2.  By the way, using FSINN, I can set these even if they don't work in the stack.  There seem to  be a few initialization problems like this with the aircraft that sometimes show up and other times not.

Today everything worked ok.
