Landing Approach

I've got my C130 working great thanks to this forum but I find it flies like a brick when I'm trying to line up for landing.  I get there fine with ILS if I pick up the localizer a long way out but for manual landing I'm usually in the grass. I can't find any combination of speed, flaps and power that helps.  Anybody else having this problem?

I used to have the same problem when I used a joystick. Now that I have a yoke and pedals its a lot easier. My X52 is setup for helicopter flight so the sensitivity and null zones didn't allow for very good fixed wing flight, So I would try and change those settings.
