I'm having trouble getting the 757 to hold the glideslop, it wants to balloon up and down trying to hold the GS. Everthing is setup properly, Vref is good, flaps at 30, gear down. I've made 1000's of landings with other aircraft that will hold a GS, no problem.

Is anyone else noticing the same thing?

Do you have the 2.1 upgrade?

I don't have the problem, but I'm on 4.x on FSX.

Make sure your approach speed matches the flap setting, from the approach reference page in the FMC.  Also, you didn't mention, but no spoiler deployments either.

Hope it helps

Hi

I'm also having a similar issue with glideslop and autoland.... all seems fine until around 200 ft above and then then aircraft takes a sudden dive into the ground, and does not flare as indicated and lands flat.  All settings etc etc are correct as far as I can make out from the manuels and forums?

Any help would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

I have this problem as well. One thing I've tried thats been somewhat successful is to add 20kts to my vref. Still don't trust auto land with Fs9.

The autoland works just fine on FS9 with other aircraft, including the LDS767, so the problem is not the FS9 autoland.

I have the CS757 ProPack 2.2 and I experience mutliple autopilot problems, one of which is the aircraft missing the glideslope and going down (to the ground) on a perfectly armed ILS final approach at around 800-1000 feet AGL.
