I use vista 64 ultmate....any problems that are know with it?
It's been quite some time since I had a Capt Sim aircraft -the last one was the B707 on fs9 and it was a nice machine - Anyone have just the base package and your thoughts? Does it come with a good VC  etc and in general are you happy with it? I am also thinking about getting the new 727.

Hi!

I have the c-130x base pack, iīm using vista64 also and have had no problems.

Itīs a wonderful aircraft, one of my all time favourites actually, good framerates too.  A bit pricey but itīs well worth it.

I also have the new 727 and i like it, but being brand new it has a few bugs, most of wich have been reported here in the forums and Captainsim has stated that theres a patch on the way...
Looks great and handles great apart from the bugs. The most serious for me being a broken vsi but apart from that nothing major.. Still very flyable.
Itīs even more pricey but i find the 727 the sexiest jetliner so for me itīs worth it...

Regards
/Ulf

Hi dbw,

I have just got the C130 ProPack (which includes all the extras) and though I've put few hours on the C130, I've had no problems of major note other than overcoming the learning curve for its systems and where all the bits and pieces are.  If you're already familiar with the C130, then it may not be an issue.

I use WinXP64, which doesn't have some of the compatibility issues that other folks have had (in general, can't say in regards to these products) and it's fine.  Like Ulf says below, he's on vista64 with no problems so that's a good sign.

The C130 is really a brilliant model, and as best as I can tell, it is accurate to reality.

I have a friend who flies C130 in real life, I can't wait to set him down at my sim and have him run through it to see if he can spot any errors. Smiley

NOTE: I'm on hiatus, concentrating on flight training.  Most of what I'm flying right now is a C172N similar to what I'm training in.  I'll try to check in and answer questions when I can, but please don't be impatient, I have other priorities right now!
