757 in Multiplayer

As I usually fly in multiplayer mode, I hoped to enjoy the 757 online. Evertime I try to use it,I get disconnected from the server. This happens on several servers with different settings. If I use another stockoraddon-aircraft there is no problem.
Does anyone also has this issue or may be has a solution? If there would be changes necessary to the server, it would be also possible.

Both pilots have to load identical flight plans if sharing the cockpit.

Sorry, this ticket has notbeen answered. The ticket you are referring to only says that CS does not offer support for multiplayer issues.
So why not ask in the forum, maybe someone else had this problem and found a solution.
I do not share the cockpit; FMC/CDU works as usual, all instruments show up and are correct (except for the firebell, but it doesn't work in SP either).
On our server 2 other player with CS 757 have the same issue, but, as I said earlier, also on other servers.
Could it maybe have to do something with localization? All ppl I know having this issue live in germany.

What type of connection do you have? Are you using a wireless router, do you have any background programs running that use the net, like auto updates, virus scan etc? Any of these could affect your connection.

Only Antivirus running; Router, yes, but LAN-connected. Connection 16kbit/s.

But doesn't matter any longer, I'm at VATSIM now, so it works since VATSIM does not use the "real" MP-mode. TY anyway for your answers.

Matze,

Since you say it works in VATSIM, I have to believe by "normal" you mean the GameSpy multiplayer.

Unfortunately I have no reply for that scenario, as I don't use it.

But, I do use CS757 with FSHostClient to connect to the UGT FSHost server (where you fly with FS9 and FSX pilots) and this mode doesn't have all the extra bits like cockpit sharing or ATC or the like.

It works 100% for me in this scenario, so I know that FSHost and now you're confirmation VATSIM MP modes both work, so I don't know what could be with the GameSpy MP mode, but like CS says, they don't support it, so maybe there's extra things that do not communicate between cockpits or with ATC or something.

Besides, even though I never used GameSpy MP mode on FSX, I did use "The Zone" on FS9, and from what I heard, the GameSpy MP mode is much the same.  Just kids "playing a game".  That's not what I look for in FS, I look for proper simulation of flight... so I won't bother, though cockpit sharing mode sounds interesting!  Smiley

NOTE: I'm on hiatus, concentrating on flight training.  Most of what I'm flying right now is a C172N similar to what I'm training in.  I'll try to check in and answer questions when I can, but please don't be impatient, I have other priorities right now!
