I have a plethora of problems with this sim software. Firstly, There is no ToD on the ND. Without this cue how do I know when to start my descent? Tuning of the NAV radios is not possible. I cannot enter ILS frequency manually and it does not tune automatically. The descent profile page is empty. I have put in a ticket to Captain Sim support about the missing ToD cue but there has been no answer.

Picked your Arrival runway from the DEP/ARR page? even if it changes closer to arrival you need to pick one before the top of descent.

Departure and Arrival runways/airports are selected during the initial FMC/CDU programming. I have another company and another company products. They perform as advertised. Maybe there is a bug in the FSX version.

For myself, TOD shows up when I manually enter the altitude and speed restriction for the vertical planning navigation waypoint on the STAR I'm flying. I do it before I even leave the ground. I don't select the arrival runway until ATC tells me what to expect. Hope this helps

Thanks for your response p1muserfan. I usually dont fly with the built in ATC. My impression is that this a/c is capable of an autoland.

Not sure what you mean by "built in ATC". I was referring to flying online. And yes, this bird autolands just fine if you want
