Just to let you all know that I have (finally) begun porting over my 40th Anniversary repaint (The Pegasus Tail) for use with the FSX version.  I am updating/tweaking some of the textures (the standard JASDF FSX repaint  which looks like AKIRA had a hand in painting is slightly more detailed in some texture areas so I will be templating away) but it will otherwise look quite similar to the FS9 repaint.   There are a few minor texture placement anomalies that need resolving too (It wasn't a straight port as I anticipated ). I'll let you know when all is done.

Thank you both for your kind words. I will admit that the horse detail is a wee bitty ropey in places ; but then I do this for fun and not as a pro (ie no pro painting set up etc) and I will stop and publish once I reach the limits of my patience or the research bubble bursts (For example, I cannot for the life of me locate some detail shots of the 2 badges over the port crew door; any ideas/pointers gratefully received!)
