When firing the "M102 105mm" gun on the AC-130
7. How exactly do you think it supposed to work?
As far as I know it should stay in the straight position.
8. What is your system? (OS, video caed , RAM, CPU, Sound Card)

does the rudder stay to the left? if it doesnt then maybe its an automatic counter against the recoil of the weapon.

Too add a screen shot, as i learnt earlier, create an account on photobucket.com take pictures on fs with CTRL + PRT SCR copy the picture to paint, make the picture smaller, including the white back ground, save as to desktop or where ever, upload to photobucket, once uploaded click the text in the "direct link" box, it should copy automatically, if not do it manually.. copy text>rightclick>copy

on the write post on this forum, click the third button on the "add YaBBC tags" should be [ img ] [ /i mg ] and copy text in the middle of [ img ]   here     [ /img ]

The first image is with the gun not being fired. The second image is with the "M102 105mm" gun firing. I also thought that it might be to counter-act the recoil but I am no expert. The rudder stays in the left position as long as the fire button is held down.

The idea is that he rudder gives a kick to the left to give the effect of the recoil from the 105mm firing. Once fired it should reset.

In the cockpit you should see a sudden momentary left yaw as it fires.

Hope this helps
