What about previous owners of C-130.  I own the FS9 version that never got updated.  There was one service pack, but asecond one never came out as promised.  I believe Captainsim owes FS9 owners a big discount and maybe free....

TOTALLY disagree!
1. Free or discounted update was never promised.
2. According to what is said on the site, this is not just a copy of FS9 aircraft, but reworked one. Looks like great amount of work has been put into it. I have FS9 version, have been using it for almost two years. I've paid for it - I've got it. Since I moved to FSX, I bought FSX version. Should CS pay me for my move? Nope!

It is like asking MS about free update to FSX from FS9. I am long term customer of MS, so - why didn't they give me FSX and Vista for free?

BTW have you read this? http://www.captainsim.com/products/c131/bp/new.html

Did anyone say free? Hell, even another company gave a discount when the 747X came out, and the QOTS had been out and 'finished' for just as long as the 130.

We do not offer any discount to the previous owners. But we hold seasonal or 'everything is 9.99' sales. There are many reasons why, in short it is our pricing policy.

I think the main complaint is that to enjoy the c-130 mostly error free,  we have to purchase the FSX version because the sp2 and extra models never were released for FS9. Now I have been one of the lucky ones to have very few errors with FSX  so upgrading wasn't that big of deal, but for many FSX is a worthless eror ridden program that offers no incentives to leave FSACOF.
I understand that the C-130 was completely  reworked and re-programed,(and well done guys! I might add)   but the FSACOF people really did get the shaft on this one.

Edited - because I can't spell
