Does the C130X Base Pack include a 3D Virtual Cockpit?

So the base pack alone is fully functional (2D/3D/all Systems)?
And how is the performance, compared to the default airplanes?
Thanks!

Hello  Smiley

> And how is the performance, compared to the default airplanes?

For me its outstanding good - but to say, i have a pretty fast PC therefor (  Intel Core Quad 6600, Nvidia 8800 GTX ,4 gig ram Vista )

it`s anywhere that good as the Standard planes if not better IMO  Roll Eyes

Hello Everyone - I am considering purchasing the c-130 base pack. I run vista with DX10 enabled. Is this a/c compatible? Does it use DXT or .DDS Textures? Any advice is much appreciated.

Hay  Smiley

DX 10 - not shure...but i think so !

The planes uses .dds files as texture.
I use Vista 32 aswell.

Hope this helps.

Runds real nice on my comp, but I don't use DX10 because the taxiways shimmer with the current 8800 drivers. I am using FSX SP2 though. Frame rates are between 15-25 but seems nice and smooth, about 3-5 FPS lower on average than the default aircraft.

The tectures are .DDS files.

NB system is an E6600 o/c to 3 gig with 2GB RAM and an 8800 GTS 640MB.

With the C-130 X Base Pack, do you get a radar or do I have to wait until the Pro Version comes out?

Thanks Lith1um
I have had 2K4 CS C-130 (all 5 birds) since Feb'07 and I still don't know much about it.
So, I will probably be asking a lot of questions about the CS FSX version of the C-130!
Thanks again!
