Problems with extra repaints

Hello!  I just purchased the 727 Captain for FSX (I also am running Vista), and I have installed 4 of the extra repaints using the ACE utility.  All 4 of them display a long black rectangle that extends downward from the bottom center of the fuselage.  I'm assuming that these particular repaints are not compatible?  Is there any easy way to tell which of the 300+ repaints are compatible?  Thanks,
