Upper Overhead in Tutorial Flight

When I run the cold & dark tutorial flight, the upper overhead panel is visible, but has a light gray layer over it that makes it difficult to read. If I load the C-130 from "Create a flight", the upper overhead is normal. Suggestions would be appreaciated. EXCELLENT AIRCRAFT!!

Thanks,
Les

I am afraid this is one of the Flight Simulator Lighting effects, that is that has nothing to do with Captain Sim model itself but it happens to any aircarft depending on the relative possition of the sun.
Try changing the time of the day (thus moving the sun possition) and you will see no light gray.
Hope it helps
