Anyone using CIVA INS with the 707?

I used "meatwaters" installer, which intalls a triple CIVA INS configuration to all CS 707 panels. Everything seems to work until I need it to control the aircraft. I have the aileron and elevator AP "paddles" on, the AP set to "heading" and one of the installed INS units in "NAV", with the appropriate "leg" selected, but it won't "direct" the aircraft.

Anyone else using either a self-installed CIVA INS or meatwaters CIVA installer and have it working? I'm guessing my "switchology" is missing something. I've also heard that the CIVA units won't work on the CS 707...that seems wrong as the installer from meatwater was specifically for the CS 707.

Got it...missed the part about using the GPS button to "tie" the INS to the 707's AP.

I suppose CIVA INS is the only thing that will have the aircraft follow the flight plan? I tried the CS method of the aircraft following the flight plan within the GPS but it doesn't work. Sad

Where did you get this "meatwaters" installer thing? maybe there's something wrong with that.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm already registered anyway so there should be no problem!

The L-1011 has a CIVA INS with 2 INS units onboard.  Time for the 707 to have its INs finished by CS.
