Noob F-104 questions?

Hi, I'm new.  I couldn't find any forum for the f-104 so I'll post here.  A couple questions:

1) Is it possible to slave the auto-pilot to a gps route?  If so how?

2) How do you open the canopy and also release the drag parachute?

Excuse the noob questions please...thanks....

To slave the GPS, assign a key in FS9 to toggle the NAV/GPS switch (I use shift+g), then turn your autopilot to nav.

Shift + E to open canopy.

I haven't messed with the drag chute, can't help on that one.

I see this thread is from a month ago, guess I should look here more often.

You can assign a key to the NAV/GPS function, but I took the switch from another aircraft and stuck it up uinder the glareshield on the left side where it isn't too obtrusive.  And, although it isn't very realistic, I borrowed the autopilot control panel from the MS 737.  The CS autopilot control panel actually has control, but the 737 control allows me to easily change the rate of climb while on autopilot.  Also lets me change the altitude to climb/descend to.  As I said, it isn't very realistic, but it allows me some convenience.
