Here are a few progress shots of the next Herc being sprayed in the paint shop. It is a request work for samuel150892. It will be available in both E and J models.

Just need a "J" owner to test it for me. (Willing volunteer required)

Thanks Aaron. I'll get the "E" finished off then I'll adapt the paint kit to the "J" and send it over.

Dax, I had started attempting to make one for myself but I clearly do not have as much patience as you Smiley

I'll let you into a trade secret.
CS have made the paint scheme already on the KC-130. I just used the bmp images as a background. I fade the image so you can see what you are working on. I then just added the colours to the right area. Once finished I deleted the background image. I made the US roundel from scratch myslef and found a good clear image of the Raiders emblem. Sound like cheating but hey. It does the job.

Can you send me am email. I think I mistakenly deleted you email when I cleared up my inbox.

Cheers

Dax

That's what I did. I just had problems with the tail. I made a pretty sweet repaint of 160013 here's a screeny. I just can't figure out how to get flags to work with it. I've been making my own flags as well. None of the default ones work either.I did fix the radome texture though.

I actually made a new set of psd files for the J version by merging the 2 sets together and doing the fine tuning.  Took some time to get it done, but I have the time to do it. Wink

I have just uploaded two varients of this repaint to AVSIM. They are ready for downloading.
I have made the "E" and KC-130 varients. THe "J" will be available soon as Aaron is testing it for me.

Sorry for the delay in releasing this repaint. Aaron did a great job of testing it and found a few errors I made.
Now that I have the "J" model I did some testing of my own. There was something about it I didn't like. I realised it was the way the "J" paint kit works over the standard paint kit.
After alot of tweaking I have got it to a point that I am happy with.

One thing that didn't look right was the formation lights. I added a lumious green effect to make them more like the real thing.

Sorry to Aaron for the work he put in but I didn't want to release it until I was sure it looked right.
Aaron made a flag for the repaint and is included. Thanks Aaron
