In the manual it mentions a AC bus tie switch. I found the DC bus tie switch but not the AC bus tie switch. Does any one know if its there or not.

I'm surprised no one has replied to this post.  The DC Tie Switch allows for reverse current flow of DC power amongst the DC Electrical Buses.  You need a Transformers to "tie" DC to AC which automatically function on the herk.  There are 4 TR's 2 for the ESS AC Bus and 2 for the Main AC Bus to provide DC Power to the ESS and MAIN DC Bus's.

The AC Tie Switch allows the ESS AC Bus to also power the Main AC Bus.  This MOD is found in H models only if I recall.  Comes in handy when the only Generator online is the ATM/APU Generator.  Honestly I think it would be a cool addition for the CS Herk, but honestly its not exactly needed....might what CS might refer to as over kill.
