Also, and I hope I'm not hi-jacking your thread, but when in the configuration window (shift + 3 I think it is) and select "Chocks", results in the plane sitting on them several inches  in the air! Huh

Definately a contact points issue on both accounts.   Hopefully this will b addressed in the "custom FDE"?

Frankly, we have already did all we can do on these wheels. Unfortunately, MSFS allows very limited tools to control the landing gear animations.

Can you show ANY airliner model that has at least 4 wheels animated bogie and the wheels never go underground?

Guys, this is FS limitation. CS cannot do anything about this one.

It can be done two ways :

1. The way CS have done it. Rear wheels sink into ground slightly

2. Have the rear wheels NOT sink into the ground on takeoff. This will however create the effect of the aricraft being slightly off the ground when it is stationary or taxiing.

Different developers do it differently. You can play with it yourself by trying different settings in the "Contact Points" section of the aircraft.cfg. Look for point.1 and point.2 - (look for -11.70). Try increments and decrements of 0.5 and see which one you like.

But do not ask for support and make sure you keep a backup of the file before you start tinkering with it. Wink

Are you sure? May we see a couple of screenshots that proves that?
