Due to an impending TDY to the United States I will have to close Dax's repaint shop until I return.
I will endevour to complete the repaints that have been requested and one of my own before I leave.
I am away from my computer from the 12th March until the 22nd of April.
Repaints will restart shortly after my return.

Please feel free to send emails with requests. I shall add them to the list of work inprogress.

I should be releasing my Delta Air Lines L100 in the next few days.

I have Skydvdan's EC-130 on the go. It's an akward one. Not many close up photos for reference around.

Kofi's CC130 with JATO is a learning experiance. Trying to get the C-130E paint kit to fit the C-130T airframe. Strange stripes and holes everywhere.

All should be done before I go.

Looking at a FedEx L100 for my return. They don't operate them but it's another civilian cargo hauler who could do with a L100 to move oversized loads.

I'll still have access to the forums so I won't vanish completley.

Dax

I have moved this post reply from the It would be nice.....forum

I'm leaving on the 12th of March. I didn't want to promise anyone a repaint that I couldn't finish before I left. If you let me know exactly which paint scheme you would like repainting I'll add it to the list.
I have two lists. Repaints I want to make and requested repaints.

So far my repaint list includes

Continental

Blue Angels alternatice Scheme

Aero Postal

Maxturbine

I am also trying to research the previous owners of the Delta Air Lines aircraft I repainted before it's firery death.

and the Requested repaints are

Kofi with a JATO equiped CC130

and

Skydvdan with an EC130

Requested repaints have priority over my own wish list.

Dax

Ps:  I have had an email reference prop texture corruption during engine start on the Delta Airlines repaint. Has anyone else had similar problem? Thanks.

Two questions for you:

First, what exactly do you need from me so I can get some photos done while you're gone.
Second, where are you going TDY?  Are you coming here to DM?

I have been looking for close up photos of images of the 41st and 43rd emblems. I have a few but they are very blurred and I can not read the writing. I try to get it as close to the real thing as possible.
I have most of the repaint done it is just the squadron markings and the tail stripe I need to finish. I have managed to get a photo of the bat in the tail stripe.

Below is a photo of the information I didn’t want to guess on.

I have 3 weeks in China Lake and another 3 weeks somewhere else.........i'll contact via email.

Thanks Skydvdan.

I'll try to have those as soon as I can now that I know exactly which ones you're talking about. Wink  Btw, the one on the tail is the Air Combat Command shield.

The bat image for the 43rd.

The 41st ECS emblem for the left side.

The emblem for the other side is the Wing emblem.

Also for the 41st repaint can you make the tail number 73592.

Many thanks Dan.
Nice big images. I will make templates using your images and they will be nice and clear when applied to the aircraft.

Should I still try to get actual aircraft pics?  Or are you good with these colorized versions?

I have made grey replicas of your pictures and they should be ok. I am nearly finished the 43rd ECS repaint. I'll pack it up and send it over soon so you can have alook and review.

Thanks again the pictures were spot on for the job.
