What will your first CS757 route be?

I think mines gonna be with the BA 757 on a shuttle flight from EGCC-EGLL, just so i can get a feel for the plane Smiley

After that, when a First Choice Airways repaint is released, it's got to be EGCC-LIRN on Jetset820C!!!

Regards

The first will be a "delivery flight" from KPAE to KBFI.  Then I'll probably do some pattern work for a while around the US and then I'm also probably going to do the MIA-->SXM route, or maybe even the JFK-->SXM if I have enough time.

I will probably do US Airways KPIT to KCLT to get a feel for it and then maybe a longer flight after that.  I can't wait for this plane!   Smiley

mm something in AA to TNCM i think.... seems pretty fun, dont get too heavily involved with ILS landings that way either,  ... for being a first flight, should be a nice get to familiarize flight, landing manually VFR and all

*EDIT*   that was really redundant wasnt it

I'm planning a United P.S. (Premium Service) flight from KJFK to KLAX.  Then a United KLAX to KSFO and KORD to KBOS.

Well, I figure it won't be out until summer, and I have finals before then, so the by the time i get to try it out (if ever), I will have flown in real life on a First Choice Airways 757 from Gatwick to Chania (Crete, Greece) return. So i guess that will be my first flight.

After that, I fancy taking a Monarch coloured '57 from Gatwick to Zakynthos return, re-enacting my last flight on a 757!

Mine will be Delta KCVG - KATL then back then KCVG - KDFW then back.  That is an actual route that I have flown many times in real life.

757s were assembled at Renton.  Try KRNT  Wink

Hopefully Capt Sim will provide the Boeing livery of the time, not the current "Dreamliner" scheme.

I would be very excited to try the KEGE route.  A few select major domestic airlines, such as United, Northwest, Delta and a few others fly the 757 on a VERY challanging approach into KEGE (Eagle County, Colorado).  There is absolutely no autoflight on this approach.  Almost from the TOD this is a hand flown procedure with mountains and obstacles off both ends of the runway.  They use the 757s because of their capacity (passengers) to handling ratio.  This is one of the most popular ski regions in the U.S. and thus travel during the winter here is very high demand.  During the Summer, routes die off, but during the winter this is a VERY busy airport, and most of the flights in and out are the 757.

That and the 757 has alot of power, pilots love that,  I'm sad that Boeing had to stop production on the 757.
