Title: AAU2 Post by 777enjoyer on Aug 17th, 2023 at 5:34pm
I saw a topic on another forum which asked about aau2 compatibility before it was released, there have been no updates since then, so will the 777s and 767s be updated to be compatible with the aau2?

What AAU2 features you are missing in the 777 the most please?

Just that the systems look way better than the old ones, and the simbrief compatibility which will be added in su13 will be great as well, if its not possible then thats fine ill just keep on using the salty mod, just wanted to hear something about aau2 and cs compatibility

Sorry I couldn't find how to start a new topic, the engine displays work but now the 777's pitch is too sensitive, I pull on my joystick a little bit and the plane pitches up to about 20 degrees of AOA

Coding doesn't work with "something". If you want something to be done pls make a detaled list of the features which work in default 747 but missing in the 777 and we'll consider adding them. 2. If you really want to hear something about AAU2 pls do not mix it with SU13, salty, simbrief or else. |

Okay here you go... your boeing mods use the base game 747 systems with pertty much no changes right, so we want at minimum the new AAU 2 system added in to the planes. if you wan to go that extra step then add the AAU2 sustems in and make a skin over them to look like 777 and 767 systems insted of just hiding two of the 747s engines. also idealy a rework of the physic would be nice so the planes aren't so twitchy, but if thats too much could the default 787s physics be used as atleast ti would be closer to the 777 and 767 than the 747 default physics. Hope this is helpful to you as idea of what I think we as the comunity want. here are some more key points that would be nice - AAU2 VNAV - AAU2 IRS alignment - Upcoming AAU2/SU13 Simbrief inporting/load manager. |

So you ask for specifics, i give you them and you ignore it...
just shows you only care about the money coming in and don't care about making quality products for your community anymore. |

Here are the features from the MSFS AAU2 update for the 747-8 that I think should be implemented in the CaptainSim 777:
Highly Detailed Avionics: The 747-8 received brand-new highly detailed avionics. This could be a valuable addition to the CaptainSim 777, enhancing the realism and immersion for users. Updated Flight Models: The update included updated flight models for the 747-8. Implementing this in the CaptainSim 777 could improve the flight dynamics and overall performance of the aircraft. Comprehensive Systems: The 747-8 update included comprehensive systems. Adding similar systems to the CaptainSim 777 could provide a more authentic and engaging flight experience. Advanced Flight Plan Support: The update added advanced flight plan support, including arcs, radius-to-fix, intercepts, holds, procedure turns, and missed approaches. This could be a significant upgrade for the CaptainSim 777’s flight planning capabilities. Integrated Avionics Checklists on the MFD: The 747-8 now features integrated avionics checklists on the MFD. This feature could be beneficial for CaptainSim 777 users, providing easy access to important checklists during flight. Visual Overhaul of Avionics: The update includes a comprehensive visual overhaul of avionics for accurate font, symbology, look, operation, and feel. Implementing this in the CaptainSim 777 could enhance the visual appeal and realism of the cockpit. Please do consider adding these features in future my goodman. |
