Title: Where Can I Get the V-Speeds of the Tristar? Post by RB2114514 on Apr 2nd, 2023 at 11:50am
Dear Sir or Madam,
I can never find the place where I can get the V1,VR,V2,Vapp,Vref speeds of the tristar.Neither the official manuals nor the official tutorials give me even a bit of information about it.What can I do to solve this problem? Thanks! |

Hello,
If you do a Google search for "V-One Gauge for Captain Sim L-1011/F V1.3" the first 2 links will be the gauge with the V-speed card for this add-on. |

The V-One gauge mod is for the 1011 Captain (FSX/SE/P3D3) v1.3, but I think it will work for the 1011 Captain II (P3D4/5), currently at v1.1, and this is also the forum for the 1011 Captain II. I'm not totally if it works, but I think it does, and it is therefore worth trying it out.
I still fly the L-1011 in FSX/FSX-SE, though not with Paul Tally's V-One guage mod due to a problem with the way the 1011 II's route has a problem once the first page of waypoints has been completed, where it reverts toshowing that I need to start at waypoint 1 to 2 section (still on the first page) with the distance left to go to the destination increasing (because it shows I have to return to, then continue from Waypoint 1). Even though the route displays that I haven't reached Waypoint 1 yet, it continues following the route all the way to the destination anyway, but the distance to go discrepancy annoys me so much that FSX/FSX-SE is my preferred way to continue to enjoy using the CS L-1011. |
