The 767 Captain III is our first product in 24 years which doesn't have any official third party liveries. Well, the world changes.
Yet some third party liveries are still available online, so we'd like to inform our customers of what to expect from the third party liveries:
1. Black areas on the fuselage.
2. Some of the third party liveries use a model hack which damages the exterior nose section and hits FPS like this: (click to enlarge)
3. Most of them are made from outdated P3D 4K liveries which gives you four times less detalization compared to official CS 8K liveries.
4. Some of them painted over official CS 8K liveries compressed dds files which gives you very questionable quality.
5. Most of the so called 8K free liveries are in fact a stretched older 4K which just wastes your PC resources providing zero visual improvement.
6. Most of them use the wrong engine type (PW for GE) and/or door layout.
7. Most of them have technical and factual errors (wrong colors, logos, missing items, layouts, reg numbers, antennas, winglets, you name it).
Good news is, there is a growing collection of high quality official CS livery packs for just 49 to 99 cents per livery.
