Title: Question about integrated WASM module
Post by masterrob94 on Apr 27th, 2022 at 6:39pm
Hello Captain Sim,

I have a question about the WASM module in panel folder. Does it force set some pumps and valves into a pre-defined state?
If yes, this would help me to understand where this weird force set values come from. I'm asking because the current Fuel System, which is based on default B747 with Fuel Tanks modification doesn't work on current SU9. I have already done a cut off of unnecessary fuel lines, which works fine. The only thing, which are playing weird are interior buttons. Especially Fuel Pumps, Crossfeed and APU.

It is known for me, that you don't support 3rd party modification, but your answer would help me to bring the modified version of stock 777 (with 747 functions) back to life.

I would appreciate if you could answer this question.

Thanks in advance

Yes.
The WASM module sets the following to OPEN/ON:

FUELSYSTEM VALVE OPEN:2
FUELSYSTEM VALVE OPEN:3

FUELSYSTEM PUMP SWITCH:5
FUELSYSTEM PUMP SWITCH:6
FUELSYSTEM PUMP SWITCH:7
FUELSYSTEM PUMP SWITCH:8

FUELSYSTEM PUMP SWITCH:9
FUELSYSTEM PUMP SWITCH:10
FUELSYSTEM PUMP SWITCH:11
FUELSYSTEM PUMP SWITCH:12

FUELSYSTEM PUMP SWITCH:15
FUELSYSTEM PUMP SWITCH:16

Thanks for your reply :-).

I have to remove a lot of fuel pumps and valves definitions as the new fuel system (fix) in SU9 does not really like those unconnected pumps and valves which worked great before the patch. For now I have to rename the wasm file to something else in order to get the sim with mod not CTD.

Sadly I can't get use of that great COMM part of the wasm file anymore. My next steps are to figure out why the APU won't remain in Running state after startup and why Battery won't turn on Captain seat displays. Then I will try to implement the COMM html gauge based on B747.

If you want you can have a look into it. I'm not sure what I'm missing for APU

Btw. if you want you can find the project on GitHub.

Looking forward. if you have any ideas

Is it possible to provide us a wasm file without these Pumps and Valves turned on? We are almost ready about to fix the mod, but many functions depends on contents in wasm e.g. Radio Communication or some animations

Thanks

Can you provide one for the 767 too so that it can also be fixed?

Thanks.
