Title: Wrong Model CDU Ident Page? Post by CaptKornDog on Apr 24th, 2022 at 12:46am
Hello,
Does anyone know what drives the model type on the CDU Ident page? I have a repaint on my 757-300 PW model installed but the CDU initialization is showing "757-200" under "Model." Is there something in the aircraft.cfg or some other variable; or did I screw something up in my folder structure on accident? Thanks. |

I'm a little confused, what did you expect to see other than 757-200?

Sorry about that ;D didn't notice the -300 on the first post. I believe it's through the panel folder gauges, is your 757-300 folder showing the proper panel alias?

My guess would be to make sure that the panel you are using is the one for the -300, and not the -200. While both use the gauges found in the P3D\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B757-200-III_PW2037\panel folder, I think that the Ident info for the -300 is read from the Captain_Sim.y573.sys.dll found in the P3D\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B757-300-III_RB535E4B\panel folder.

Yes, it seems to be. Perhaps I'm calling out the wrong model.cfg, but that doesn't make sense since it's displaying as a 757-300 and the textures are correct? Captain_Sim.y573.sys.dll seems to be in the panel folder correctly; and the panel.cfg does indeed call maybe "572" gauges but does use the "573" in one instance. Very odd. Thanks anyway. |
