Title: Artificial horizon not showing in 767 glass cockpi
Post by ThinksFlyer on Dec 15th, 2021 at 12:14am
After installation the 767-400 works fine but the 3D cockpit is a little buggy. No artificial horizon and no flightlan in the glass cockpit instruments. Reinstalled twice, no luck. Any ideas? Thanks, guys!

Thank you very much for the tip, Tomas!
I installed the latest Salty 747 Dev version, as you said.
The Asobo 747 panel works fine.
But the Captain Sim 767 panel (which uses the 747 instruments) still does not. Still black like my screenshot above.
I did, of course have MSFS closed while installing the new Salty version in Community and then launched it. But for some reason the 74 works and the 76 doesn't  :-/

Why isn't there a solution to this problem, I purchase the software with my money knowing that if they're selling this 767 it works, but it doesn't work, so why isn't there a solution for this

Do you have the Salty compatibility mod installed as well? If not, go to Flightsim.to and just type "767" in the search bar and it should show right up. The developer has done a lot with this mod and is working on improving the flight dynamics as well. After a recent update to this mod, it has been difficult to climb past FL290 but he is working on that. To get around that, I changed the "engine static thrust" in the engine.cfg folder to 70000. I was able to climb to FL340 with no problem.

Yes I have installed "salty-747" and "z_cs777-salty-compatibility", and only the cs-777 cockpit is working, and I have done all the necessary 767 updates, but I cannot find a z_cs777-salty-compatibility for the cs-767

Check the attached image. Do you have this mod installed in addition to the salty 747 mod?

After your above suggestion of what to install, I have now three items that were mention as a requirement for this to work installed("salty-747","z_cs777-salty-compatibility", and "masterrob94-salty-777"), but the Captain Sim B777 B767 - Salty Compatibility with EICAS Mod(masterrob94-salty-777) made the entire cockpit dark but before having that last recommended item, I at least had a cockpit that matches the one above that had something showing. So right now my 767 that I purchase is useless, I cannot believe I need to do a treasure hunt of items to plug into it for it to work, when this should have been done before they took my money

Is there anyone that can show me the procedure you did after loading this aircraft, because this cannot be the in, where no one is able to help me where I can actually see a operating cockpit to this plane

You must have something conflicting with each other.....These are the only 2 mods that you need. I would delete the other ones in your community folder and reinstall.

I am very sorry for being a very little confused of what I'm seeing, but is it possible you can only put down the two main items I need to into my community folder, and where to download them from, again I'm sorry but looking for certain things to install in the simulator is new for me

No problem, I know that it can be confusing. Welcome to the flight sim community if you are new to the hobby!

You need 2 mods only in your community folder.

1.) Captain Sim B777/B767 - Salty Compatibility with EICAS Mod
2.) Salty-747-dev-latest

Links to both of these mods are here:

https://flightsim.to/file/23875/captain-sim-b777-salty-compatibility-mod-with-eicas-mod

https://github.com/saltysimulations/salty-747/releases/download/vdev/salty-747-dev.zip

The "Captain Sim B777/B767 - Salty Compatibility with EICAS Mod" by Masterrob is being updated almost on a daily basis. He is doing a great job of finding issues and correcting them as he can. If you run into minor issues once you get these downloaded (APU not starting, dome light not working, etc.), check the comments section for this mod on flightsim.to and you will most likely see that he is aware of it and working on it.
