Title: Using P3D Draft Flight Planner
Post by TacoyakiBoom on Aug 2nd, 2021 at 1:14am
Hi, I am trying to use P3D's draft flight planner, but it seems that the plan is not loading in to the INS what should I do?

P3D's draft flight planner

Is this the default P3Dv5 flight planner? If this is what you are referring to, then all you should need to do, is create the flight plan, save it, return to the L-1011. Go back to the planner, select the flight plan, load it (it's up to you if you select yes to go to the airport (it's actually the airport runway) or not) and it should be visible in the INS.

Note. I always refer to the P3D flight planner as the "defaiult P3D flight planner" because it's the one you get when you install P3D. ;)

Thanks! Problem solved. But there is another issue. I would like to know how to set up Stabiliser Trim. I don't know if aircraft automatically adjust the trim or we need to calculate it, also where we could find the indicator show the trim value.

I find that setting the trim to 6 is good for takeoff (see attached image). To set it, use the mouse wheel to rotate the trim wheel (or the default Num7/Num1 (Num Lock must be OFF))
After that, the AP controls it for the rest of the flight, including landing if you so want - it's up to you whether you use Autoland, or you manually land it.
