Hi does anyone know why I got this hardware software logo showing up in the right hand side. Never seen this before or with any of my other aircraft. Thanks

I've seen it several times, and it has something to do with the Throttle position on the controller. It moves when I move the throttle lever on the joystick.
And I think it's this entry in the panel.cfg: Window18=Throttle Synchronization [Window18] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=75, 200 position=5 visible=0 ident=12118 alpha_blend=0.60 ;render_3d_window=1 ;ignore_input=1 ;locked=1 gauge00=2d!T01, 0, 0, 75, 200 |

OK so is it a good idea to remove that entry if I want?

THROTTLE SYNCHRONIZATION PANEL
In some AUTOTHROTTLE modes, such as ARM or THR HOLD, the pilot can control the throttle. At the time of switching to these modes, the position of the physical throttle (HARDWARE) and the position of the throttles in the virtual cockpit (SOFTWARE) may not be synchronized, which will lead to a sudden unintentional change N1. If system detects this state, the THROTTLE SYNCHRONIZATION panel will be shown, and you should align software and hardware symbols by moving your joystick physical throttle. After aligning, the symbols will disappear, and you will be able to control the throttle from the joystick. |

It seems to me, the Hardware one not match my TAC throttle.
As this throttle hardware have physical reverser range on the same axies and I defind them with FSUIPC, I feel that the CS's panel use full range for the "Hardware" display rather than only forward range. When I have my actual N1 on like 60%, and condition for this panel to show, I have to move throttle to like 40% N1 before it can catch and be moved again, thus moves software throttle way low to 40% and lost power. Hope you can figer it out, or at least option for disable such function if it doesn't work for someone. (I'm OK without it in like CS757 or other Boeing add-ons.) |

I have noticed during take-off that my throttle position seems about right to me, but the hardware cue wants me to pull back, and then I'm losing a lot of power. I'm not quite sure if this is an issue or just me not getting using it right, but I'll guess time will tell. So far, not crazy about the feature. |

Hi Captains!
I have never seen this, I use trackIR, maybe that's why I don't see it? thank's! |

I can turn this on/off via the P3D menu Vehicle -> instrument Panel -> select throttle (or something like that), but is does not work for me, so no use sadly.
Cheers, DWammy |
