Attempted a short familiarisation flight.
On selecting gear up, the battery switched off and made almost all systems unusable, the ADI and HSI were completely black. the elec hyd pumps were unusable and despite the engine hyd pumps still apparently being operable flaps could not be selected up, the lever would not change position. It was almost like the aircraft reverted to C&D state. switching the bus bar on and off solved nothing either and I had to quit the flight as I had no operable back up instruments.
Also I feel the using the MCP, the knob should rotate faster or be logarithmically set so they spin through faster and make selecting altitude, heading or speed faster to reach.

Happened to me too until I noticed I forgot to turn on Generator 1 and 2, since groundpower only disconnects once you get airborne.
