Thinking about buying this add on...will it work in P3D v1-3 and will it work in v4 with the 737 and other CS planes?

It's a long time since I tried it in P3Dv1/v2/v3 (and I currently only have P3Dv3 installed to test it on now). I don't think it will work in P3Dv4/v5 though.
