Title: Using PC keyboard for CDU
Post by Kees on Sep 26th, 2020 at 3:28pm
Since the latest update I have troubles with using my PC keyboard for the CDU. With the combination CTRL-Shift-K, you couold program the CDU by using the PC keyboard. A green light on the CDU shows that the pc keyboard is active.

Now after pressing that combination, there is no green light and also I can't use the keyboard for the FMC. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Kind regards,
Kees

I just tried it in P3Dv4, and P3Dv5, and it works fine for me.
The green light appeared when I pressed CTRL+SHIFT+K key combination, and disappeared when I pressed the CTRL+SHIFT+K key combination a second time, so I don't know why it doesn't work for you.

Strange. I have retried it and now I see that when I wait about 15 seconds after pressing CTRL-shift-K, the PC keyboard works. But the green light doesn't show up.

I am talking about the green light at the left top corner of the left CDU in the VC.

Kind regards,
Kees

I've never seen the green light show up on the CDU in the VC, I've only seen it show up on the 2D Left CDU (Shift+6, or click on left CDU screen).

Ready the manual, it doesn't say whether it shows up on the VC CDU either.

Note. I also see that the ` key turns it off, so that will be nice not to see a K appear in the scratchpad every time I turn it off. ;D
