Title: Anyone with runaway pitch trim on final?
Post by Alex T on Aug 5th, 2020 at 4:34pm
Hello my simmer friends:

Last two 767 flights I've done, when disconnecting AP on final on an ILS (both before and after final config), I get an issue of a pitch trim runaway (ANU). I want to ask if anyone has seen this yet. I don't think it's a bug because someone would've said something by now. Please try and disconecct AP on an ILS and see if it happens. The only way for me to stop it is with the pitch trim cutout switches (just like real life  ::) )

It's funny because it's a textbook way for my company to test us on the emergency procedure in the full-motion simulator  ;D But I doubt captain sim is trying to make us relive the PTSD of airline simulator sessions!

Using my trip button won't get the trim back, only using the alternate trim levers. And it will keep running away until I use the stab trim cut out switches

Disregard, FSUIPC problem and fixed. Delete this thread if you want CS.
