727 in a heartbeat!

727 as it is somewhat more relevant still compared to the 707 and cause who doesn't want 3 tail mounted JT8Ds on a t-tail on a 738 sized narrow body that can fly as fast as a 747 and does its classic struggling initial climb after rotation!

The supersonic 727 (yes, in one terrifying incident a 727 is believed to have broken the sound barrier in an uncontrolled dive). This is such a classic Captain Sim product with a lot of character. The 707 is great, too, with an interesting nav system. But it feels weird to do short flights in a 707. I think the 727 was my first Captain Sim airplane. I really had to work at it. I had to learn how to navigate. To me, the quintessential Captain Sim airplane is the 727.

Beyond that, the L1011 is nice. Maybe I just like 3 holders. Except I’m also fond of that early 737.

Ah yes the little 727 that went supersonic.

Full story back at page 117 of Lou Stories.  8-)
