No, it doesn't. Never. I have had a very well outfitted P3D and it never reached the level of immersion like MSFS does.
Hopefully CS will be starting in MSFS not too late. Other wise they will remain in the small P3D-niche, I'm afraid. Earning the big money will happen in MSFS, especially after releasing the X-box-suite; not in P3D anymore.
