Title: No Power the INS after aircraft is powered. Post by IslandBear on Jul 5th, 2020 at 6:32am
I uninstalled and re-installed my Captain Sim L-1011 in an effort to resolve the problem which is: I turn the know to standby and there are no lights to indicate that the INS is on. I don't know how to resolve this issue. Please advise me of the solution to the problem.

The unarmed light was on. I placed the switch in the on position and the unarmed light was extinguished. The INS still had no power. I did notice that after I placed the switch to the on position, that the ATS position 1 displayed fail light.

Check your Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_L-1011-1\panel folder, and make sure you have the following files within it:
animation.cab civa.cab main.cab update.dll panel.cfg y112.fx.dll y112.sys.dll y112.wxr.dll The y112.sys.dll was the only one that left the INS not able to be powered up, after I renamed it (I renamed it y112.sys-bak.dll). |

Thank you for your help. It is up and running now. It helps when all the files are there.
