Title: Support of 32-bit sims is over
Post by Captain Sim on Jul 3rd, 2020 at 10:23am
Captains,
Our products for 32-bit simulators (FS9, FSX, P3D2/3) were developed many years ago for hardware and Windows versions which are outdated today. Every computer hardware and OS update brings more and more compatibility issues. While these legacy products still can work on some computers, the development was ended a long time ago.

Following our Goodbye FSX announcement dated 2018, it's time to officially end the 32-bit era at Captain Sim:

As of 03JUL2020 we terminate technical support of all products for 32-bit simulators (FS9, FSX, P3D2/3).
The fact you are on 64-bit Windows does not make any difference.

Good news:
1. General Support troubleshooting still applies to the legacy products, and will fix most common issues.
2. You are not alone, so you can share user-to-user tips and tricks at our Forums.
3. All legacy products are still available via Extended Download Service**.

** - Does not apply to third party DVD box version purchases.
