B767 0.96
Please fix some windows textures when they are painted, specially in white. Thanks. |

That's a particular livery texture issue.
The 04_M map must be updated to make these plugged windows channels identical to the body paint ones. Also I'd remove the extra static ports. |

But the 04_M map will be updated in the V0.98? |

There's nothing to update in the product. The 04_M map is designed for a standart configuration with no windows plugged. When a free livery artist plugs any windows to match a particular airline configuration, he should update the 04_M map. |

The 04_M file now has the plugged windows in the exact paint colour, on files 01_M and 02M. I have copied those _M files into my livery folder. How do I plug windows in the Fus_03 texture file?
I have also painted the body paint colour onto what I think are the correct windows on Fusfin04_D file. However, the windows still appear on the aircraft. Should I be guided by the numbers in red or the numbers in yellow on the Fusfin_04_D file?? Or is it red for right and yellow for left?? Information in the manual is not very clear. |

I think it may be that the red numbers and arrows are for the 4D model with hatches. However, my windows are still not plugged.
On the RIGHT: I have plugged the windows in the 01 and 02 files (blue arrows) in the 04_M files white, and then in addition made the appropriate rear windows (blue arrows) in the Fusfin_04_D file white. On the right I have done the same thing, indicated also with blue arrows. If anyone who can give a detailed step by step set of instructions to correct this and blank the indicated windows, I would be most grateful! |

You need to make the alpha channel in the Fusfin_04 file in white on the windows you want to plug |

Thanks CFG Repaints!
I now have all the correct windows sorted on both sides and have made the alpha channel white for the plugged windows - however they are all highly silver polished-looking now. Any idea what I have done incorrectly? |

What if I place the full texture set on dropbox and send you the download link? Can you send me your email address by personal message?

Email address not required after all - I have sent you a PM with the download links to the files.

All fixed - required some work on the alpha of the _M files and the Fusfin_04D file.

Where can i find the 04_M map file? not showing the paintkit for the 4+4

Title: Re: Plugged pax windows Post by ozzieblr on Jun 27th, 2020 at 11:45am
No - they are not produced in the paint kit - I edited them in Photoshop using DXTBMP to convert the files.
The 03_M and 04_M files can be found here, as they are identical for both the original and the 4D models: Drive:\...\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B767-300ER-II_PW4060\texture\spec The 01_M and 02_M files can be found here: D:\Progam Installations\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B767-300ER-II_PW4060_4D\texture\spec |

That last address should read:
Drive:\...\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B767-300ER-II_PW4060_4D\texture\spec Incidentally I have now completed work on a livery closely resembling the iconic 'Disney's Planes' special livery for the Qantas 767. |
