Yes Chris J. Read the rest of the Forum.  I've posted at least three times (757,767,777) on how V5 does not have a dll.xml file in the "APP" folder. You have to add it in the dll.xml file in the ProgramData folder.

I didn't/don't have to add it to the dll.xml in the C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 (the Captain Sim sound info is only added in the C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\dll.xml file), and the sounds work fine for me in the 757 III, and the 767 II.
