What program are you using that is showing the aircraft on the map?

EDIT. I have attached a zip file which includes the following files:

cs l-1011-1 at egll.cs.config
CS L-1011-1 at EGLL.fxml
CS L-1011-1 at EGLL.wx
EGLLLEMD01.pln1

I think it would best to load the CS L-1011 at EGLL flight from the Scenario Panel before starting P3Dv4!

The L-1011-1 is the default CS L-1011-1 Captain Sim House 1970 1 livery.
It's sitting at the start of runway 27L, ready for takeoff2. All you need to do is release the Parking Brake, and then throttle up. The INS is aligned, and set to NAV, with the route already loaded.
You can takeoff, get the aircraft clean, and climbing at 250 knots, then turn the NAV Source Selector to FMS to immediately start following the route (it will turn to intercept the magenta route line).
Or you can choose to follow Tom Beckett's tutorial.

1 After loading the EGGLLEMD01.pln flight plan into the INS, the creation/modification date for the file, is changed to the date/time that you do it for the first time. After that, the INS no longer changes it (I unzipped the original EGLLLEMD01.pln several times, noting that the creation/modification date for the file changed the first time I loaded it into the INS).

2 The following AP settings are:
Airspeed set to 220 IAS (this is 10 knots less than the maximum speed for 15o Flaps)
VS - ON (Vert Speed set +1000fpm)
HDG - ON (Heading set to 271)
Arm - ON (altitude set to 6000ft)

To follow Tom Beckett's tutorial, you need to turn the NAV button ON (and turn the VS button OFF if you want to use IAS for the climb). ;)
