Those instructions were for the SimuFly CIV-A INS (v1.60x64), and not the Captain Sim CIV-A INS, which comes with the 1011 Captain II. In my first reply, I mentioned the SimuFly CIV-A INS, and I think from that point on, there was confusion between the two different CIV-A INS units. Unfortuanately, that was my fault for not quite understanding your original post, where you said "I tried to set-up one from the Avsim-linked tutorial, but lost my way getting this aircraft to follow the waypoints, track, etc", simply because I missed the word tutorial in that sentence, and I took it that you must have been trying to set up the SimuFly CIV-A INS. Because of that, I went and downloaded the SimuFly CIV-A INS (v1.60x64), installed it, and then worked out how to set up and get it working in the 1011 Captain II. Once I had done that, I told you how to modify the panel.cfg, and instructions on how to get it track the route.

IF I had been able to upload an image of the final result, which I wanted to do, you would have noticed straight away that I wasn't showing how to do the flight with the Captain Sim CIV-A INS! The two CIV-A INS units look very different. :(
