Title: Repaints Not Showing Up In FSX
Post by Sam Yeager on Jul 21st, 2019 at 3:17pm
I bought the B-52 but was unable to find any .dds repaints to add through the ACE livery manager so I had to manually install them all. Ive manually installed a ton of liveries on many different aircraft so I know how to do it. So I add all the liveries - and none of them will appear in the FSX aircraft selection screen. The only paint that is available is the default grey one (the only one showing in the ACE). I have tried everything I can think of. Does anyone know a trick to this? Thanks.

I know that a long time ago, I often converted the BMP texture files to DDS files, but I no longer have any liveries, other than the default grey one, on my B-52.
Unfortunately, any of the liveries I may have converted were lost due to a HDD failure on the drive I had them saved to. :(

Many of the links to liveries are no longer available (i.e. Nathan Phillips), or are on Avsim, but I find it strange that the textures would be BMP, and not DDS.

Note. Nearly all of my Captain Sim aircraft only have default liveries in FSX.

So no way to get my repaints to show up?
