In addition, I have 1.4.0.2 installed which is the last P3Dv4 hotfix (thank you).

I see there was a FSX 1.4.0.3 hotfix - can you confirm that full installer 1.4.0.4 is just those hotfixes added to the main installer?

In other words, is the P3Dv4 1.4.0.4 full installer = 1.4.0.0 + 1.4.0.2 hotfix and the FSX equivalent is 1.4.0.4 = 1.4.0.0 + 1.4.0.3 hotfix?

The csx572_1404.exe is a full install (226mb). Seeing as all of the gauges (except those only essential to the other 757 III Expansion Models) are in the CS_B757-200-III_PW2037\panel folder, any fixes for the gauges will be there, so there is no need to update the RR's, -300's, or Freighters.

However, what the fixes are, I have no idea.

Interestingly enough, my 757 III's in P3Dv4 never notified me of the update, even though it's available via the Extended Download Service (I never tried it in FSX/SE/P3Dv3).

Yes CS, email notices would be nice.  This is not the first time I've missed updates due to lack of communication.

I believe you need to uninstall the current expansions and the latest PW base pack, then apply the 1.404 PW update, followed by the 1.400 expansions (same files that you have just uninstalled).

As Mark says in reply #3, the systems programming across all the variants is applied in the PW panel folder, therefore the RR/300/F will already depend on those new gauge files without its own update file. The 1.400 is still the latest expansion version for this reason.

Well I can say one thing for sure which hasn't been added, and that's the flight director indications on takeoff. Disappointing. Still beyond me why this isn't simulated.

I would have preferred a more considered answer. My post above would have only taken one, possibly two sentences to answer.

We are all supporters here, and want to fly the latest version.

If 1.4.0.0 + hotfix 1.4.0.2 for P3Dv4 = 1.4.0.4 full installer it should be easy to type “yes it is”.
