Title: Takeoff trim/C of G
Post by kessler on Jun 14th, 2019 at 7:53am
Hi all,

I have recently purchased the 777 for psdv4. Please can someone tell me how to either calculate or enter the CG for the takeoff trim for the FMC?  At the min I am just having to sort of guess  a figure then enter it into the CG to obtain the takeoff trim.

I know in another developers 777 you can just click of the CG lsk and it gives you the figure in the scratchpad but nothing seems to happen when I try that with the CS 777.

Great aircraft by the way.  I've been finding my way around it this week and hope to have a proper flight this weekend.

Many thanks,

Rory

When you use the Fuel and Payload (F&P  on the Simicon panel (Shift+2)) gauge (?), as you fill everything in, the CG, which is displayed near the bottom left of the gauge, changes to show what it currently is.

Alternatively, on the CDU, go to MENU > Setup, and the CG is displayed there under Current COG.

Cheers Mark, i didnt think to look at the setup page. I normally use topcat for fuel and payload so hav'nt used the fuel planner.

I'll give it a try this eve  :)
